Soundtrack From Upcoming Dana Carvey Comedy In Stores Tuesday, July 23 Film Opens Nationwide On Friday, August 2 (dateline - New York - Music World Music/Columbia/Sony Music Soundtrax - July 11) Music World Music/Columbia/Sony Music Soundtrax is releasing The Master Of Disguise - Music From The Motion Picture, an album of music from the upcoming Columbia Pictures comedy starring Dana Carvey. The album showcases some of Columbia Record's hottest up-and-coming artists -- including Play (featuring Lil Fizz of B2K), Solange Knowles, Rose Falcon, and Devin Vasquez -- and includes tracks from Destiny's Child, Miami Sound Machine, Vitamin C, Jhene, and others. The Master Of Disguise - Music From The Motion Picture will be in stores July 23. "The Master Of Disguise," opens nationwide on August 2. Performed by Play featuring Lil Fizz, "M.A.S.T.E.R. Part 2," the soundtrack's first single, has been added to Radio Disney. A companion video to the track, lensed by Chris Stokes (B2K), features Play, Lil Fizz, Solange, Devin, and Jhene. With a copy of The Master Of Disguise - Music From The Motion Picture CD and a connection to the internet, fans will have access to exclusive behind-the-scenes video footage, music videos and more. Written by Dana Carvey and Harris Goldberg, and starring Dana Carvey, "The Master Of Disguise" is the story of Pistachio Disguisey (Carvey), a sweet-natured Italian waiter who works at his father Fabbrizio's (James Brolin) restaurant and can't figure out why he compulsively mimics his customers and desires to change his appearance. What he doesn't know yet is that these traits are part of the Disguisey family secret legacy. Fabbrizio has never told his son that he comes from a long line of masters of disguise able to mask themselves as anyone or anything by harnessing the great power of "Energico." Such a talent makes Fabbrizio the kidnapping target of his former arch-enemy Devlin Bowman (Brent Spinner), a criminal mastermind with a plot to steal the world's most precious treasures. At first Pistachio is not very effective as he attempts to control his inherited power, but with the help of beautiful assistant, Jennifer (Jennifer Esposito), he's spinning through a manic blur of eccentric characterizations in an attempt to track down Devlin Bowman and save his parents.
