Record Store Day: In celebration of Record Store Day on April 18th, Black Kids are set to release a limited-edition 10" that includes original demos from their much lauded 2007 EP Wizard of Ahhhs. The release, which up until now has only been available digitally, set the blogosphere on fire back upon its initial appearance in 2007. It will be available at independent records stores across the U.S.
In addition, a remix of "Look At Me (When I Rock Wichoo)" by Kid Gloves will appear on a limited-edition 12" vinyl sampler that also features MGMT, Franz Ferdinand, Glasvegas, Q-Tip, Willie Nelson and more. Fans can get the album on April 18th with purchase of $50 or more at participating locations.

Mates of State will be releasing Re-Arranged: Remixes Volume 1 April 14th on Barsuk Records. This limited-edition 12" vinyl features four reinterpretations of tracks from Mates of State's 2008 release, Re-arrange Us, with contributions from noted remixologists DJ Sega, Flosstradamus, The Mae Shi, and RAC. Packaged in a classic DJ white sleeve, this 12" EP is limited to 1000 copies worldwide and will be available exclusively on vinyl several weeks before hitting digital retailers.
