CONCEPT

The objective is to show three aspects of a hot party, outside waiting to get in, inside the crowded party trying to get to the other side, and a show on stage that involves some dope MC's. If it's a Kid Capri party, you can expect pure pandemonium. Each MC is featured separately along with Kid Capri in the three different aspects of the party. The transitions from section to section will be a combination of dramatic swish pans (Casino, The Practice) and camera wipes (Xzibit'z current video). The movement of the camera along with a variety of slow motion shots will play an important role in communicating the vibe of this very fun, dramatic and energetic video.

TREATMENT

The video opens with a dramatic looking slow motion shot of Kid Capri walking toward the party on a busy New York block. In front of the club is a huge crowd gathering near the front door. Smack dab in the middle of the crowd is none other than The Ruler himself, Slick Rick. He is effortlessly flowing through his verse from, "We're Unified." The crowd outside is going nutz over Rick's rhymes, as Kid joins the Ruler in the dowd. When Slick Rick finishes with, "Kid Capri, notify the peasant who The Ruler is," the crowd erupts with verbal phrase as Kid Capri and Slick Rick make their way inside the party.

Once inside the party, the camera transitions to Cam'ron exiting the men's room as he rhymes a verse from "Be Alright" straight to the camera. The camera leads Cam through the crowded party, where he runs into Kid on his way backstage. On the way through the party, Kid is receiving pounds from party goers as Cam continues to kick his verse. At the end of the verse, the camera transitions to the next section.

The Lost Boyz are off the stage and grabbing mics as they mic check the crowd with the hook from, "Loud and Clear." "Sound check, 1, 2, hear me loud and clear, cuz I got something that you need to hear, Lost Boyz, Kid Capri, hear me loud and clear..." When we see Kid Capri on the tables and the Lost Boyz hit the stage, the crowd goes bananas. Crane shots sweep from behind the crowd, straight to Mr. Cheeks and above the stage as the energy is taken to an all time high. Fast dolly moves track Kid Capri on the tables from left to right as he gets the crowd pumped with his vocal tone. Intercut with this section are the cutaways of the crowd, jewelry swinging, drinks being spilled, honey's dancing, drinks being brought to tables, celebrities acting a fool, and the whole nine.

The video starts out on a high and continues upward to an unbelievable level. The final shot shows Kid Capri leading the pack of MC's in slow motion as they walk away from the party on a busy New York block.
