ROZZI RELEASES NEW SONG “UPHILL BATTLE”
Singer/Songwriter, Rozzi has released her brand new song, “Uphill Battle” today – listen HERE.
This gut-wrenching piano ballad showcases Rozzi’s unique ability to bring personal stories to life through her powerful vocal and lyrics. “Uphill Battle” is the first song in a succession of releases that will lead to her first full length album later this year on Small Giant/Columbia Records.
“It can be hard to care intensely, to love intensely, to want intensely. Some days I wish I could just let it all go — but that’s not who I am,” Rozzi says about the track. “For better or worse, I think this song might be the best description of myself I’ve ever written.”
At just 19 years old, Rozzi made her name known by being discovered by Adam Levine. Soon after she was touring the country with Maroon 5 and honing her craft on-stage. After parting ways with Levine in 2016, Rozzi began her own personal quest of self-discovery. It was at this moment that Rozzi realized that she had been so focused on success that she forgot to truly live her life. So, Rozzi started living. Most notably she fell in love for the first time and had her heart broken. She felt things she had never felt before, she found herself, and then she wrote about it.
